Resonance
Passage

The World Is Not Silent

The world is not silent. It hums. It has always hummed. The wind in the pine has a frequency and so does the blood in your ear, and when you walk through a forest at the edge of the day you are walking through a layered music the mind cannot hear but the body answers to.

To be in resonance is not to be loud. It is to be so clearly yourself that what is already true in the world can find you without being shouted at. The loud are rarely in tune. They are compensating.

Become quiet enough, and the tuning happens on its own.
